I live in Southern Utah with my Wife, Cheryl and my little boy, Zachary
I started working in jewelry when I was 16 as an after-school job. I fell in love with the idea of helping people purchase an item that is so closely connected with special events in their lives.
I moved to St. George, Utah in 2002 and started working at Adams Fine Jewelers (now Adams&Collard) I loved my time there. I was attending Dixie State College earning a Bachelor's in Business Administration while working.
My studies had me take a good look at the business that I was working in. While a brick and mortar store is a tried and true way to sell jewelry, I thought that there could be a better way. Stores have high overhead, limited inventory and high pressure to make the next sale.
I decided to come up with an approach that had no overhead, seemingly limitless inventory and no pressure to make a sale. So here is what I decided (though I am not the first):
Private Jeweler!
A private jeweler meets their clients by appointment only, helps their clients find what they need and educates them on what they are buying.
I am a Graduate Gemologist. I can tell you more about diamonds than you would probably care about. More importantly, I can tell you everything you need to know to ensure that you are buying the diamond that meets your needs and expresses the sentiment that you want yo convey.
